John in Condos

Rezen is a new condominium project currently under construction at the corner of Frederick and Adelaide, just west of Sherbourne. This condo is a short walk from the St. Lawrence Market and a few blocks away from Yonge.

Rezen Rezen is 13-storeys of glass, steel and brick with clean, uncluttered lines. This building features 144 suites with live-work and retail units on the ground floor. The condo is being developed by Times Group Corporation and is scheduled for occupancy in May 2008.

Amenities include a fitness centre, yoga studio, lounge, boardroom and a rooftop lounge with cabana beds and BBQ stations. Eco-friendly features include low-emission paints and carpets, low-flow faucets, energy star appliances and a separate recyclable waste disposal system. The condo also has a bicycle parking area on the main floor of the building.

Rezen is one of few new condo projects in the downtown core with prices well below $400 per sq.ft., making it a particularly good option for first-time HomeBuyers. One bedroom units are in the $205K-$240K range, one bedroom-plus-den units are between $270K and $310K and 2 bedroom units start at around $310K.

Parking spots are $32,000 and are only available to owners of 2 bedroom units. Lockers are $3,500 and maintenance fees are 42 cents per sq.ft. and do not include electricity.

There aren't too many units left, so if this sounds like a good option for you, act soon.
