Great article. Indeed, emerging neighbourhoods are "in" right now. With all the new building done and the older ones getting redeveloped. Every and each of these points are right and to the point. I ad a few clients that wanted to live in one of those small, cozy and "hip" neighbourhoods. They were mostly young couples wanting to establish them selves and begin the family life. Some of them managed to find what they are looking for, but I had one couple that sold their new home after two months in int, because they didn`t like the neighbours. but the last point says it all. It`s not just sunshine and buttercups.

Those are some really good tips for trying to decide if a neighborhood is "up and coming" - I've also heard that if there is a Starbucks on the corner, you're too late, though I don't know if that actually has any truth to it or not!

Today instead of purchasing a new flat we have to renovate our old flat and convert that old one into new. This is the correct way to think positively.
