Neighbourhood Spotlight: Bendale-Cedarbrae

Toronto City Council has approved the extension of the Bloor-Danforth subway line to Scarborough despite the extra costs involved and extended completion date.

Bendale-Cedarbrae
KennedyDespite receiving the thumbs up from Toronto council, the Scarborough subway extension is far from certain. In order for the wheels to be set in motion, the project requires extra government funding (and a lot of it). This is one of the reasons that many are opposed to the project. The original Scarborough LRT (Light Rail Transit) plan was a fraction of the cost and had a shorter timeframe of completion.
